Sayella AAC is here today. More inclusive communication and learning tools are in development, built on the same values you can read below.
An affordable AAC app for nonverbal and minimally-verbal communicators, built cross-platform (iPhone and iPad now, Android and web coming), that grows from a first symbol to full sentences, with no forced subscription and your words always yours.
We are building learning tools for teachers and SEN settings, designed alongside Sayella AAC so a child’s communication and their learning speak the same language.
Further inclusive tools are in early development. We will only announce one here when it is real, with no placeholder names or dates in the meantime.
What every Sayella app promises
There is always a free way in, and a one-off price to own what you use. No four-hundred or five-hundred pound walls between a person and the tools they need.
One account for iPhone, iPad, Android and the web. iPhone and iPad are available now, with Android and the web on the way, so you will be able to program on one device and have it appear on the one in someone’s hands.
There is always a one-off, lifetime way to own a Sayella app. If an optional subscription lapses, the app keeps working on your device. It is never switched off.
Screen readers and high-contrast options are designed in from the start, with switch access and scanning on our roadmap, and we publish a WCAG accessibility statement you can hold us to.
Export and import in open, standard formats any time. If you ever leave, you take your work with you. No lock-in, ever.
Made in British English, on established research into how a small core vocabulary carries most of everyday speech, for the families and schools who have been priced out or locked in.
