For SLTs, SEN schools and clinics

One app you can recommend to every family

Sayella is the affordable, cross-platform AAC system built with speech and language therapists. Free supervisor accounts, modelling and insights tools, evidence-based core vocabulary, and a non-subscription path so the families on your caseload are never priced out, whatever device they are on.

Free for therapists and supervisors. Floating and multi-seat licences for clinics and schools. Grant, charity and JAMF-school funding friendly.

Built for the way you actually work

Everything below is shippable today, not a roadmap. The features that make Sayella affordable for families are the same ones that make it manageable across a caseload or a whole school.

Free therapist and supervisor accounts

Set up, model and support across your whole caseload at no cost to you. Family and team accounts let parents, teaching assistants and clinicians share one learner and stay in step.

Multi-pupil profiles in one place

Manage many learners from a single supervisor account. Each pupil keeps their own board, voice, access method and progress, and you switch between them without juggling logins or devices.

Modelling and insight tools

Model a message silently without triggering speech, highlight the path to a word, and use find-this-word to show where a word lives. Usage insights show what is being used so you can target intervention.

Data portability for handover

Boards import and export in Open Board Format (.obf and .obz). Bring a learner across from another system, or hand a family on to the next setting, without losing the hours of customisation behind a vocabulary.

Floating and multi-seat licensing

Licence by seat or by floating pool to suit a clinic or a whole school. A Lifetime path means no per-seat subscription is ever required, which keeps grant, charity and JAMF-managed school funding eligible.

Evidence-based by design

Research-based core vocabulary, fixed-position motor planning so a learned button never moves, aided language stimulation built into modelling, and the Modified Fitzgerald colour key, applied consistently by the system.

Accessibility, first-class

Switch scanning (linear, row-column and group-item), VoiceOver and TalkBack, auditory scanning, and a configurable high-contrast highlight. Colour is never the only signal: every button pairs symbol and word.

Cross-platform for real caseloads

Recommend one app whether the family is on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows or a school Chromebook. No more matching the recommendation to the hardware a family happens to own.

Modelling and insights, in the supervisor view

The supervisor view gives you the tools to teach and the data to plan, all on the same board the learner sees.

  • Aided language stimulation, on the learner’s layoutModel on the exact board the learner uses, so the motor path you teach is the path they will use. Modelling never clears the message they are building.
  • Find this wordShow a parent or a TA where a word lives without hunting through folders. The path lights up, so modelling between sessions stays consistent.
  • Usage insightsSee which words and folders are being used, so you can target the next set of goals with evidence rather than guesswork. Insights stay private to the learner and their team.

Grounded in the evidence you already teach from

Sayella applies these principles by default, consistently across every page, rather than leaving them to manual editing. That means less setup for you and a more reliable system for the learner.

Core vocabulary

A research-based set of a few hundred high-frequency words makes up roughly 80 percent of everything we say. Sayella is built on core, so a learner reaches more of language with fewer, more powerful buttons.

Fixed-position motor planning

A word never moves. Selecting it becomes automatic, freeing attention for the message. When a learner is ready for more, new words are revealed inside the same grid and already-learned buttons stay exactly where they are.

Aided language stimulation

Modelling is designed in, not bolted on. Partners can model on the learner’s own board silently, support input before expecting output, and keep the message intact while they do it.

Book a demo or request a quote

Tell us about your clinic, school or trust and we will arrange a walkthrough and a quote for floating or multi-seat licensing, including a non-subscription Lifetime option for grant and charity funding.
