Free therapist and supervisor accounts
Set up, model and support across your whole caseload at no cost to you. Family and team accounts let parents, teaching assistants and clinicians share one learner and stay in step.
For SLTs, SEN schools and clinics
Sayella is the affordable, cross-platform AAC system grounded in established research on core vocabulary and language development. Free supervisor accounts, modelling and insights tools, evidence-based core vocabulary, and a non-subscription path so the families on your caseload are never priced out. Available on iPhone and iPad now, with Android and the web on the way.
Free for therapists and supervisors. Quote-based seat licences for clinics and schools, with per-child managed access. Grant, charity and JAMF-school funding friendly.
Almost everything below is shippable today, not a roadmap. The features that make Sayella affordable for families are the same ones that make it manageable across a caseload or a whole school.
Set up, model and support across your whole caseload at no cost to you. Family and team accounts let parents, teaching assistants and clinicians share one learner and stay in step.
Manage many learners from a single supervisor account. Each pupil keeps their own board, voice, access method and progress, and you switch between them without juggling logins or devices.
Model a message silently without triggering speech, highlight the path to a word, and use find-this-word to show where a word lives. Usage insights show what is being used so you can target intervention.
Boards import and export in Open Board Format (.obf and .obz). Bring a learner across from another system, or hand a family on to the next setting, without losing the hours of customisation behind a vocabulary.
Licence by seat to suit a clinic or a whole school, with per-child managed access so each supporter sees only the children you choose. A Lifetime path means no recurring subscription is ever required, which keeps grant, charity and JAMF-managed school funding eligible.
Research-based core vocabulary on a calm, complete board you size to suit the learner, consistent button placement for motor planning, aided language stimulation built into modelling, and the Modified Fitzgerald colour key, applied consistently by the system.
VoiceOver and TalkBack, a configurable high-contrast highlight, and colour that is never the only signal: every button pairs symbol and word. Switch scanning (linear, row-column and group-item) and auditory scanning are on our roadmap.
Sayella is built to run on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web from one account. iPhone and iPad are available now, and Android and the web (any browser, including on Windows, and school Chromebooks) are on the way, so before long there is no more matching the recommendation to the hardware a family happens to own.
The supervisor view gives you the tools to teach and the data to plan, all on the same board the learner sees.
Sayella applies these principles by default, consistently across every page, rather than leaving them to manual editing. That means less setup for you and a more reliable system for the learner.
A research-based set of a few hundred high-frequency words makes up roughly 80 percent of everything we say. Sayella is built on core, so a learner reaches more of language with fewer, more powerful buttons.
You choose a board size that suits the learner, and the full set of core words for that size is always shown, with nothing hidden or greyed out. Buttons stay where they are as the board is used, so selecting a word becomes automatic and attention is freed for the message. When a learner is ready for more, you choose a bigger board.
Modelling is designed in, not bolted on. Partners can model on the learner’s own board silently, support input before expecting output, and keep the message intact while they do it.
Tell us about your clinic, school or trust and we will arrange a walkthrough and a quote for seat licensing, including a non-subscription Lifetime option for grant and charity funding.
